We completed a full rebuild and expansion of this backyard deck, turning an older wood structure into a larger, more modern, and more durable outdoor living space. As part of the project, we reinforced the existing framing, added new support posts, and tied the old and new sections together into one solid structural system.
We then installed new Trex composite decking, finished the perimeter with clean fascia details, and added modern metal railing. We also built a new centered staircase, making access to the backyard more convenient and giving the whole deck a more balanced look.
This was not just a cosmetic update — it was a full deck rebuild with added square footage, structural reinforcement, and a transition to low-maintenance materials. The end result is a larger, stronger, and more modern deck with a clean finished look, a comfortable staircase, and durable decking built for everyday use, relaxing, and entertaining.
